Gas Turbine Power Station — O&M
Sohar, Al Batinah North
2 × 125 MW · O&M

Doubling the university's on-campus solar capacity from 1.5 MW to 3 MW, delivered by one accountable EPC team.
Key facts
01 — Overview
GCMS has been awarded Phase 2 of the University of Buraimi solar PV plant, extending the installation delivered under Phase 1 and doubling total capacity to 3 MW. The scope is delivered on an EPC basis, with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning managed by one accountable GCMS team.
The expanded plant supplies clean, on-campus power to the university, reduces reliance on grid electricity and shows what utility-grade renewable energy delivery looks like in the Sultanate.
